About the Show
When you talk about '80's music, it won't be long before the name 'Paul Young' comes up. His illustrious musical career really began in ernest in 1983, when Pauls' rendition of the Marvin Gaye classic 'Wherever I Lay My Hat' reached number 1 in the U.K. for 3 weeks during the summer, the first of 14 British top 40 singles he had. This was followed by 'Come Back And Stay' which peaked at number 4, and then top 3 hit 'Love Of The Common People'.
His biggest worldwide smash followed in 1985 with a version of 'Everytime You Go Away', reaching the number 1 spot., and then 'Oh! Girl', the Chilites classic climbing all
the way to number 8.
Marks' tribute to Paul Young is both accurate and heartfelt, squeezing the soul out of each and every song. He performs the hits and much much more, true to Pauls' reportoire, in a unique, all-action, non-stop tribute to the superstar, capturing both the distinctive vocal sound and the instantly identifiable look of Paul himself.
The show itself is 1 hour long, fully self-contained and comes complete with 4k top of the range P.A., lighting/F.X. to suit the occasion, and a dedicated sound and lighting technician.
